  •  Munnar hill station

 This is one of the rare places in southern India where we can come across unspoiled  nature. It lies along the mountains of western ghat. It is renowned for its flora and fauna. In terms of eco tourism wayanad is a must tourist destination.

It is one of the places which majorly contribute for Kerala’s rich biodiversity. It is  aimed at conserving the precious cultural heritage of Kerala. It is a home for many endangered spiecies.

  •  Kaladi

                  This sacred town on the banks of the river Periyar is renown as the birth place of the great philosopher and social reformer, Shankaracharya. There are two temples situated on the bank of the river; one is dedicated to him and the other to the goddess Sharada both are maintained by the Sringeri Math.

  • Athirapally waterfalls

                      It is a renowned picnic spot. The spectacular view of the water falls refreshes our feelings and creates a naturally rare atmosphere. Athirappally Falls is about 80 feet high and located in the forest area. These falls join the chalakkudi river after falling from a height of 80 feet.

                 These are some of the sights which calm our soul after the stressful and busy life. In other terms these are the almighty’s masterpieces. Its beauty is indescribable.  It gives an appearance of pearls floating down the green carpet.

Nelliyampathy’s is known for trekking. As most of the hills are 500 meters to 1600 meters high, it’s adventurous. One of the popular peaks of nelliyampathy is Padagiri peak, which is known for trecking.

It’s also known for its rare scenic beauty and vast biodiversity. Being rich with flora and fauna, it undoubtedly attracts nature lovers to it.

  • Malampuzha dam

Malampuzha is another important tourist place in Kerala. Malampuzha is situated on the lower hills of Western Ghats. Malampuzha Garden, Malampuzha Dam, Fresh water aquarium, Children park, Snake park, Telescopic tower, Rock garden,Passenger ropeway are some of other sites which unknowingly attract tourists to it.

  • Ezhimala

                 Ezhimala has played a significant role in the history of India. It’s a hillock.  The unique feature  of this place id that its a mountainous region on the seashore. This place relates to the Dynasty period. It was also a landmark of the ancient sailors which was inhabited a long time before.

  • Bekal fort

                  This is one of the latgest renowm forts in India which spreads  around forty acres . Its stairs, rarely designed tunnels give a unique outlook. It represents the ancient art and culture along with its traditions. It is an ideal example of a well preserved ancient monument.

                 when we are within the fort, the tone of safety and security maintained within the fort by the kings centuaries before during wars can be felt.
